Young Pharmaceuticals, Inc. was founded in 1977 as a developer of customized medications for dispensing dermatologists. Our initial product line included topical corticosteroids, anti-infective agents, and acne treatments. As ingredients became available for such indications as photoaging, hyperpigmentation and rosacea, our scientists applied their pharmaceutical chemistry experience to formulating a new generation of aesthetic medicine. Topical retinoids exhibit profound dermatological effects, including regulation of epidermal differentiation, elimination of dysplasia and atypia, uniform dispersion of melanin granules and increased collagen synthesis.

The unique EmoluGel vehicle contains moisturizing Petrolatum in an anhydrous, silicone gel that is fragrance-, preservative-, and surfactant-free. It contains a micro-sponge delivery system which reduces cutaneous irritation characteristic of retinoids. A light serum or single-use pads are appropriate for patients with oily or acne-prone skin.
