YOUNG PHARMACEUTICALS COMPANY DESCRIPTION 
 
Young Pharmaceuticals, Inc. was founded in 1977 as a developer of products for dispensing dermatologists. Our initial line included topicals for a variety of general dermatologic conditions. As ingredients became available for such indications as photo-aging, our scientists applied their pharmaceutical chemistry experience to formulating and pioneering a new generation of aesthetic treatments. Today, Young remains committed to providing high-quality medical skin care products to dispensing physicians worldwide. We are also able to provide a private label experience for top accounts, and are not sold on line. 
 
 
REPRESENTATIVE SUMMARY (Multiple territories are available. Please forward your resume for consideration and to speak with our human resources department.)
               
This is a 1099 position with a highly attractive and competitive compensation structure. The ideal candidate must have an entrepreneurial spirit and be highly motivated. The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting product sales to physicians in a given territory. The majority of the Sales Representative’s time is spent calling on plastic surgeons’ and dermatologists’ offices within a large territory. Sales representative will be responsible for the development of new sales opportunities and support of current customer base. Sales representative will also be responsible for providing service to customers within the territory.
 
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
  • Direct-to-physician sales experience with cosmeceutical or other aesthetic skincare products
  • Analyze sales data and manage territory to effectively maintain and grow book of business
  • Strong skincare knowledge is required
  • 3+ years outside sales experience selling a premium product to dermatologists and plastics surgeons that dispense skincare products with a proven track record of success
  • B.A. or B.S. degree preferred
 
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:
  • Ability to create a line of customized, practice-branded skincare products at the office level
  • Meets or exceeds quarterly sales goals
  • Strong organizational and proven time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and creatively
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and train office staff
  • Demonstrated ability to develop on-going professional relationships with customers
  • Must act in a professional, confidential, and positive manner
  • Staffing national and regional trade show as assigned
  • Assists physician office in growing the practice through marketing promotions and educational seminars
  • Provides product demos to qualified customers
  • Quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained
  • Documents and maintains all lead activity in the online CRM tool
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no major violations
  • Attend various sales training classes, trade shows, sales meetings, and national and regional conferences
  • Maintain understanding of trends in the industry
  • Make presentations about company’s products to a target audience
  • Know how we differ from the competition

FRONT-END WEB DEVELOPER
The Role:
               
Join a fast moving Information Technology team at Young Pharmaceuticals. We build and operate high volume, high-availability single- and multi-page apps, which provide our customers with product/news information and allow order entry/processing by our sales force worldwide.

We are looking for creative thinkers who are well versed with existing and emerging Internet technologies. Our ideal candidate has a strong engineering mindset and knows how to “translate” customer requirements into an aesthetically pleasing and fully functional website solution. We expect the ideal candidate to have experience in frontend development and be able to contribute quickly. We prefer individuals with significant experience in a B2B environment in a highly regulated industry. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with a highly attractive and competitive compensation structure.

 
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience with HTTP(S), HTML, CSS, SVG, JavaScript, ASPX, various image formats, sprites, HTTP, cookies, caching and security
  • Knowledgeable with Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari browsers and their various idiosyncrasies including browser performance and compatibility
  • 2+ years experience with any frontend web development
  • Extensive knowledge of browser internals
  • Understanding the differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimize output to match the specific platform and minimize web usability issues
  • Familiarity with Windows Server, IIS, and SQL (including schema design and stored procedures)
  • Experience developing and integrating with web services APIs
  • High-school degree required, Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is highly desirable
 
Additional Qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience working with a relational database such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server
  • Familiarity with Telerik KENDO controls
  • Strong communication, analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity, and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Desire and willingness to be challenged and learn about new technologies
  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects with very limited direct supervision
  • Familiarity with a fast-paced environment, working on multiple priorities at once
  • Ability to work and think outside the box
